The finalists in the 2008 Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) Awards for Excellence have been announced. We were thrilled to learn that in the Holiday & Short Term Rentals category all three finalists use YesBookit to manage their holiday letting business.

The REINSW Awards for Excellence acknowledge NSW's most innovative and professional agents by providing an industry-wide competition that recognises excellence in service, creativity and commitment. In this year's awards, entrants in 24 award categories will be judged on their knowledge, skills and innovation.

YesBookit - Holiday Letting Solution for Property Managers

Four years ago Midac Technologies (Australia) Pty Limited embarked on the development of an online availability and reservation system specifically for holiday letting real estate agents. The object was to develop an advanced system that would automatically transfer bookings into the "back office" property and trust management system. Console Gateway was identified as the clear market leader, and a decision was made to connect with that system.

The result is YesBookit, and thanks to a joint development between Midac and Console, the system is up and running, with a transparent connection to Gateway 2007. YesBookit supplements the leading Gateway 2007 trust and property management features, with a full-featured online and in-house availability, tariff and booking management system.

The system manages availability and rule based tariff computation for bookings made over the counter, by fax or phone, and online. YesBookit is the first online reservation system developed specifically for real estate holiday letting agents and property managers.
